Running
It has been my ambition to start running a couple times a week,so I was finally able to today.Since my exams are over I am experiencing extreme feelings of relief, but also a desire to do something on these 3 days off.so I ran.I ran from my house to the fire-station at the end of my road(if you know where I live, you also know that 45%of that would be downhill),and started walking back.anyway I ran and walked home and sort of died a little bit.
But what was cool was that at the start(on the downhill section)I realized something about running=when you look way ahead,it seems soo long and tiring, but when you look at the little spaces between the cement,it doesn't seem so impossible.I thought it was a perfect comparison of the Christian life(mine anyway). To have the goal far ahead is mandatory, but to cover the small steps along the way,is also mandatory.
I feel kinda pumped with that, cuz it's lesson i REALLY need to learn.
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" Hebrews 12:1-2
