Was 2 years and a day ago.that was the day that I became a Christian.I realized that if I didn't get my sins forgiven i would go to hell when I died,so I was reading a gospel paper and it said "God is Satisfied",and I realized that God(the creator!!)was satisfied with what Jesus did on the cross to pay for my sins so that I could go to heaven after I died.Jesus died for me!
There are people that would tell me that "there's no such thing as God","Gods dead","we are our own gods ".
all I have to ask is "can you explain the change in me?"
Now I have peace,I know where I'm going after I die,and best of all...I have The Lord Jesus.
So what brings me to why I wrote this post today is the weather,it is one of those awesome springish days, you know, when the snow is melting and the sun is warm. And as I was driving I was thanking God for such an awesome day,and the fact that no matter what happens,I will be in heaven with him forever.
You might think I'm a Christian nut,but I challenge you to check into it for yourself, and you will see that God is a God of love, and that he has a plan for you.
Here's one of the most well-known verses from the bible,John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."
Thanks for checking this out,and I hope that you will think of God differently now,not as an angry God waiting to throw a lightning bolt at you,but as a loving God who sent his son to die for you so that you could be in heaven with him.
Peace

Precious Thoughts
"And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all gods. But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house, save only to burn sacrifice before him? (2 Chronicles 2:5,6).
God is HUGE.He is bigger, better, and more than we will ever know.To read that the universe cannot contain him...thats big.
Sidestep. When someone says "I Love You",its either because you just gave them a piece of your chocolate bar,or it's coming from someone who totally means it.We dont care about the first kind of "I love you",but when we know that somebody truly loves us..we love it.(enough "loves" yet?)
Now to mix those 2 paragraphs into an epic conclusion.
It hit me the other day that God loves me.It's one thing for my family to love me,or other Christians that I know..but it's crazy that God loves me.read psalm 139=he knows everything about us but still chooses to love us unconditionally. After thinking that I really have wanted to appreciate that fact more.Sooo~-=to get to why the title of this is called "Precious Thoughts"."How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with thee."(Psalms 139:17,18)
GOD HAS PRECIOUS THOUGHTS ABOUT US!
I hope this encourages you and check back any time.

"Seek his face continually"
"Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually. Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;" (1 Chronicles 16:11,12).
once again I don't have too much to say about this...but guess what?=I don't need to.it's The Word of God.
all I can say is that if your like me,you need to appreciate the Lord Jesus aloot more, and we can only do that with Gods help..but you know what's cool?when you start to appreciate him more, you start enjoying the meetings more, and doing stuff for his glory seems more appealing. That's just my thoughts, and I have such little experience in this, but I can testify that God WILL help you to "seek his face" when you ask for help with it.
Peace out.

Psalm 125:1&2
"1.They that trust in the LORD shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever.2.As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the LORD is round about his people from henceforth even for ever."-psalms 125:1-2
I don't have anything profound to say about this, but if we trust in the Lord we will be unmovable.and verse 2 is a huge comforter.
Have a good Sunday
