Running

It has been my ambition to start running a couple times a week,so I was finally able to today.Since my exams are over I am experiencing extreme feelings of relief, but also a desire to do something on these 3 days off.so I ran.I ran from my house to the fire-station at the end of my road(if you know where I live, you also know that 45%of that would be downhill),and started walking back.anyway I ran and walked home and sort of died a little bit. But what was cool was that at the start(on the downhill section)I realized something about running=when you look way ahead,it seems soo long and tiring, but when you look at the little spaces between the cement,it doesn't seem so impossible.I thought it was a perfect comparison of the Christian life(mine anyway). To have the goal far ahead is mandatory, but to cover the small steps along the way,is also mandatory. I feel kinda pumped with that, cuz it's lesson i REALLY need to learn. "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;" Hebrews 12:1-2

"Jesus only"

Ok this is something I read in D.L.Moody's testimony, and it's beyond awesome. "Jesus only", "The light of Heaven is the face of Jesus, The joy of Heaven is the presence of Jesus, The melody of Heaven is the name of Jesus, The harmony of Heaven is the praise of Jesus, The theme of Heaven is the work of Jesus, The employment of Heaven is the service of Jesus, The duration of Heaven is the eternity of Jesus, The fullness of Heaven is Jesus himself", I need to know more of Jesus.hope this encouraged you:)

Galatians 4:9

hey
exams are coming=some pretty intense studying.
i got braces on my top teeth, cant wait to see the results:)

Psalms 106:10("He saved them from the hand of him who hated them,
And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.").We were saved from the one who hates us more than we can imagine(the Devil)..by the one who loves us more than we can imagine(God).

"But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage?"-Galatians 4:9

This verse always speaks to me,'weak and beggarly' is a great way to describe what i lived for before i was saved.I got saved on february 26,2011, and would never go back,it is the best thing that ever happened to me,and it has had the biggest effect on me.What i find is that when i start reading and praying less and less,my desires for Godly things go out the window, and i start wanting to do things things that i used to do before i got saved. For example, when i am not reading or praying much, one thing that i really want to do is go listen to the beatles for a while...but i know that if i do that, the last thing i'll want to do is tell somebody the gospel,or read my bible,or pray.Everybody has things that trip them up,thats one of mine.

"Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage."-Galatians 5:1

Back on track. When i am reading and praying regularly, and asking God for help and preservation, thats when im happiest.

So to sum up everything...We are saved from a cruel master.theres always the temptations that want to make us live like we used to live.stand fast by reading and praying at least once a day.And to encourage you, when we fail God..He is always there to help us and welcome us back.  2nd timothy 2:13-"If we are faithless,He remains faithful; He cannot deny himself."

peace out and have a good night.
                                             or day;)
